A 44-year-old teacher, V. Srividhya, was hacked to death at the Kamalapuram Government Higher Secondary School in Salem on Monday (April 13, 2026). The teacher, who was residing at Yerikadu Panankattur near Thindamangalam, came to the school on Monday along with her three-year-old daughter. Around 1 p.m., her husband, Vijay Murugan, came to the school and attacked her using a butcher knife.
