Tamil Nadu registered a 99.92% pass rate among students who appeared for the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 board exams. This is a marginal increase from last year, when the State registered 99.86%. The CBSE Class 10 results were announced on Wednesday, with the national pass percentage recorded at 93.7%. This year onwards CBSE will be conducting two Class 10 board examinations for students in an effort to give the students a chance to enhance their performance and reduce their burden. As the exams concluded in March, many students had decided to take up the second set of examinations as their Math question paper was tough.
