A 28-year-old man, who works as a supervisor at a private firm that handles waste for the Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC), was arrested on Monday for sexually harassing a conservancy worker in K.K. Nagar. Police sources said the complainant had been working as a conservancy worker on contract with the firm for a couple of years. Its supervisor, Prasanth, 28, repeatedly sexually harassed her at work. He offered to buy her a mobile phone and told her to call him without her husband’s knowledge.
