Subrahmanyeswara Swamy Kalyanam performed with fervour at Kanaka Durga temple

The Sri Subrahmanyeswara Swamy Kalyanam was performed with religious fervour at the renowned Sri Durga Malleswara Swamyvarla Devasthanam atop Indrakeeladri on Wednesday, marking the auspicious occasion of Vaishakha Shuddha Shashti.

As part of the temple’s tradition of conducting the ritual every month on the Shuddha Shashti tithi, the celestial wedding ceremony was held at the Kalavedika on the hill from 9 a.m. Priests performed the rituals in accordance with prescribed customs, chanting Vedic hymns.
