Lokayukta officers caught a Sub-Inspector of police and a police constable while they were accepting a bribe of ₹1.7 lakh in Kerur of Bagalkot district on Wednesday. Farmer Muttappa Naikar complained to the Lokayukta that Sub-Inspector Bheemappa Rabakavi and constable Santosh Biradar demanded ₹2 lakh bribe to release his bike.
