Mohan Kumar Danappa, Member of the Karnataka State Police Complaints Authority, has written to the Director General and Inspector General of Police (DG & IGP), Karnataka, urging strict action against the rising incidents of underage driving during the summer holidays. In his letter, Mr. Danappa highlighted that minors operating vehicles had become widespread across the state, especially during vacations. He noted that many underage riders lack awareness of traffic rules and legal consequences, posing serious risks to themselves and the public.
