KARTHIKEYAN For the balanced economic growth of the nation, there should be a simultaneous focus on urban and rural development, said Naam Tamilar Katchi Chief Coordinator Seeman. Addressing an election campaign canvassing votes for the NTK candidates in Dindigul district, Mr. Seeman said there was disparity between urban and rural areas with regard to access to quality healthcare, quality education, and employment opportunities. The disparity should be eliminated to foster an equitable economy. Villages should be developed. If the villages are ignored, the people will migrate to the cities for better opportunities. The cities will have to bear the burden of the migration and the villages will be left isolated and empty, Mr. Seeman said.
