Row over Vishu poster showing Lord Krishna and chicken mandi prompts probe in Kerala’s Malappuram too

The controversy in Kerala surrounding a Vishu greeting that depicted a young Lord Krishna alongside chicken mandi in a restaurant’s social media promotional poster at Cherthala in Alappuzha district has now reached Malappuram, with the police launching an investigation into allegations involving a few restaurants at Edakkara and Kottakkal.

Aji Thomas, a BJP district committee member, has filed a complaint against the owners of two restaurants at Edakkara after Vishu greeting posters circulating on social media showed Lord Krishna alongside mandi.
