Francois Provost, CEO of Renault Group who was here in Chennai unveiled the company’s FutuREady plan for India and said that new vehicles will be introduced, bringing its portfolio to seven models in India by 2030. “We have already launched the new Duster, and we are already seeing strong interest and enthusiasm from customers,” he said. “India represents more than 1/3 (34%) of the TIV growth in the markets where Renault Group operates. It is one of the fastest growing automotive markets,” he added. Mr. Provost further said: “We want to integrate India more deeply into Renault Group’s global value chain, especially through vehicle and component exports. Our objective is to reach €2 billion annually in exports by 2030.
