Revanth Reddy on Monday conducted ‘bhoomi pooja’ (ground-breaking ceremony) for the revival of Sri Kaleshwara Mukteshwaraswamy temple on the banks of river Godavari in Jayashankar-Bhupalapally district. The State government has taken up re-development of the ancient temple as part of its plans to develop/revive all temples along the Godavari river course from Basar (Nirmal district) to Bhadrachalam (Bhadradri-Kothagudem). The government has taken up redevelopment of the Kaleshwaram temple with an estimated cost of ₹198 crore.
