Nithin After protracted dry conditions for nearly the entire April, a relatively good spell of thunderstorms that lashed large parts of the State on Wednesday brought some relief to the residents in the State, although the rain deficit is still around 44% during the March and April months. In line with the forecast, some parts of the State received heavy rain and thundershowers on Wednesday evening and early night, although the rainfall was not evenly distributed across the State.
