Print Media Distributors Association (TSPMDA) association leaders submitting a petition to Minister Vivek Venkataswamy in Hyderabad on Saturday. A delegation of the Telangana State Print Media Distributors Association (TSPMDA) on Saturday submitted a petition to Labour and Employment Minister Gaddam Vivek Venkataswamy at the Ministers’ Quarters, seeking inclusion of print media distributors in the Telangana Gig and Platform Workers’ Welfare Board. Led by association State president Vanamala Satyam and secretary Yamini Madhusudan, the delegation urged the government to extend welfare measures to newspaper distributors on par with those implemented in Karnataka. The Minister has reportedly responded positively to the request, members of the delegation said.
