Sivaganga police arrested three individuals in Karaikudi for allegedly distributing cash to voters on behalf of the AMMK (Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam). A sum of ₹13.85 lakh cash was seized from them. The police received a complaint that money was being distributed to voters for cash-for-votes near the Public Works Department (PWD) office in Karaikudi.
