Sri Sathya Sai district police handed over 135 lost and stolen mobile phones to their owners at the District Police Office here on Monday. The recovered devices, worth nearly ₹27 lakh, were traced and restored after sustained efforts by police teams. Superintendent of Police S. Satish Kumar and Additional SP Ankita Surana handed over mobiles to their owners.

Speaking on the occasion, the SP said that the recovery was made possible through coordinated technical tracking, with cybercrime teams using digital tools and IMEI-based tracing to locate the devices. ”The biggest reward for the police is seeing the relief on the faces of the owners. Many of them have been waiting for several months,” he said.
