Till now, the State government used to provide agricultural land to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. But, now-a-days, due to increasing urbanization and rising land prices, it has become impossible for ordinary poor families to purchase plots to build their own houses,” the Minister told reporters after the Ambedkar Jayanti celebrations.
