Petronet LNG has been accorded the commissioning permission for expansion of Dahej LNG terminal by five million metric tonnes per annum (MMTPA), Nidhi Kesarwani, Joint-Secretary at the Dept for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) informed at the daily briefing for affairs relating to West Asia on Wednesday (April 22, 2026). “Commissioning permission has also been granted to Petronet for additional 5 MMTPA regassification capacity at Dahej terminal, which has increased storage capacities,” she informed.
