File | Photo Credit: RAMAKRISHNA G Maximum temperatures continued to soar across Telangana, with large parts of the State reeling under intense heatwave-like conditions on Sunday (April 19, 2026). A total of five districts recorded temperatures of 44℃ or above, while 14 districts registered readings between 43℃ and 44℃. Another 11 districts saw temperatures ranging from 42℃ to 43℃, and three districts recorded temperatures between 41℃ and 42℃. Urban areas were not spared from the rising heat. Gandipet in Rangareddy recorded 43.1℃, while Dundigal Gandimaisamma in Medchal Malkajgiri registered 42.9℃. In Hyderabad, Musheerabad recorded a maximum temperature of 42.1℃.
