Photo Credit X/@YKhemchandSingh GUWAHATI Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh on Friday (April 17, 2026) visited several villages in Ukhrul district as part of a mission to remove the trust deficit between the Kuki and Tangkhul Naga communities. Members of the two communities have clashed intermittently in the Litan area of the district since February 7, 2026. Trouble in the area began after a Kuki group allegedly assaulted a Tangkhul man.
