A 38-year-old man allegedly killed a boy and hacked his mother with a sickle, before ending his life over a dispute on Friday (April 24, 2026) in Salem. The mother, R. Sathya, 31, was a resident of Karuthanur near Omalur, with a 13-year-old daughter and a 12-year-old son, R. Kishanth. Due to a family dispute, she lived away from her husband and stayed with her children at a house on a farm owned by her mother.
