Following very thin water flow, the Kumbakarai waterfalls has been shut for public since Friday. According to forest department officials, with summer at its peak and very little rain in upper Kodaikanal, there was not much water flowing in the falls here. Apart from this, the unpleasant odour too had forced the authorities to shut the falls from public visit.
