Highlighting the risks of fatigue, dehydration and heat-related illnesses, the corporation stressed the need for staff welfare during peak summer months. The advisory recommends that staff carry sufficient drinking water, consume light and hydrating food, and drink fluids frequently throughout the day. It also suggests keeping Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS) handy for emergencies and consuming items such as buttermilk, coconut water and fruits to stay hydrated.
