image for representation | Photo Credit: BHAGYA PRAKASH K A 54-year-old farmer was electrocuted after coming into contact with an illegal power fence he had allegedly set up to ward off wild boars at Angadipuram near Perinthalmanna in Malappuram, Kerala, on Tuesday (April 28, 2026). The deceased was identified as Kallipparamban Abdul Azeez. His body was found near the electrified fence on a leased farmland where he had been cultivating banana. The carcass of a wild boar was also found nearby.
