Japanese firm Create Medic, a manufacturer of silicone catheters, has established its first office in India in Chennai. The healthcare-focused company is also planning to set up a manufacturing facility in Chennai to cater to the Indian market and for the neighbouring and African countries. The company will be expanding its network to Delhi and Mumbai and is looking at opportunities to work with Indian doctors to develop innovations that can transform healthcare. The 50- year-old firm, listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, started operations in India in 2017. The firm was distributing its products through Medi Nippon to hospitals in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Chandigarh, Bengaluru.
