Iran has shut the Strait of Hormuz again, citing continued U.S. naval interception of ships from its ports. The move comes hours after a brief reopening that had raised hopes of progress in U.S.–Iran talks. Tehran has warned of further closures if the blockade continues, risking disruption to a major share of global oil supply, even as diplomatic efforts and a fragile Lebanon ceasefire continue.
