Indian Oil Corporation Limited has increased Auto LPG supplies to Bengaluru by nearly 300% in response to a sharp surge in demand caused by disruptions in private sector supply chains.

According to a release, the company supplied 75.53 metric tonnes (MT) of Auto LPG in the city on April 15, a jump from the usual daily supply of around 23 MT before the crisis. The increase comes amid the ongoing West Asia conflict that has impacted private Auto LPG Dispensing Stations (ALDS), which account for nearly 80% of the market in Bengaluru and across Karnataka.
