Officials of the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) have imposed a ₹3 lakh penalty on a hotel in T. Nagar for failing to report the stay of foreign nationals, and a case has been registered against its management, police said. The action followed an inspection during which it was found that foreign guests had been accommodated at the OYO Super Town House Hotel without their details being uploaded on the mandatory online portal or intimated to the FRRO office in Nungambakkam.
