Horticulture crops grown in over 724 acres and six guntas in Shivamogga taluk have been affected by rains in this month (till April 26), according to the Shivamogga district administration. In Holehonnur hobli, 685 acres and 13 guntas; in Anaveri hobli about 30 acres; and in Kallihal hobli around 8 acres and 15 guntas of horticulture crops have been badly hit. Besides that, as many as 15 houses in Anaveri hobli and eight houses in Holehonnur hobli have been damaged.
