Hirakud Express diverted for safety upgrades on Delhi–Ambala section

Train services on the Old Delhi–Ambala Cantonment section will be regulated and partially diverted due to safety works at Shahabad Markanda railway station and Mohri railway station.

The North Central Railway has planned power and traffic blocks to extend loop lines and install new electronic interlocking systems at these stations. These upgrades are aimed at improving operational safety and handling capacity, but will temporarily affect train movements.
