The Department of Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare has launched distribution of mosquito nets free of cost to people living in malaria-prone areas across the State.

According to a press release, 7.80 lakh people, including students, living in areas identified as malaria-prone will receive Long-Lasting Insecticidal Nets worth ₹19.25 crore to bring down the number of vector-borne diseases.
