The Delhi High Court has set aside the suspension of Ramanujan College Principal Rasal Singh, ruling that the constitution of a fact-finding committee to inquire into sexual harassment complaints was contrary to the provisions of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 (POSH). Justice Purushaindra Kumar Kaurav delivered the judgment on Friday while hearing a petition filed by Mr. Singh, who had challenged both his suspension and the formation of the ad hoc fact-finding committee by Delhi University.
