A goods truck caught fire near Pantheerankavu toll plaza in Kozhikode on Tuesday (April 28). The vehicle was completely gutted in the blaze. No one was injured in the incident. The fire broke out when the parked lorry was started. Though the exact cause of the fire is not known, a short circuit is suspected. The vehicle was on its way to Aluva from Maharashtra. The incident led to traffic disruption in the area.
