A file photo of a Golden Jackal. | Photo Credit: Photo for representation only A Indian Golden Jackal pup, aged about five months old, was rescued from the outskirts of Bengaluru following a distress call to the Deputy Range Forest Officer (DRFO), Kaggalipura, on April 13. A rescue team from PfA Wildlife Hospital, along with Forest Department officials, rescued the jackal pup and transported it to the PfA Wildlife Hospital for medical care.
