YSRCP leader and former AP State Aquaculture Development Authority (APSADA) vice-chairman Vaddi Raghuram has accused the government neglecting farmers and aquaculture stakeholders amid an ongoing diesel shortage.

Addressing the media, Mr. Raghuram said the shortage severely disrupted agricultural operations during the crucial harvest season. He claimed that nearly 70% of fuel stations were facing shortage, forcing farmers to wait in long queues and affecting the use of harvest machinery dependent on diesel. He alleged that fuel supplies were being diverted towards construction works while agriculture was being sidelined.
