The in vitro fertilisation (IVF) treatment centre at Gandhi Hospital in Secunderabad | Photo Credit: BY ARRANGEMENT After nearly 10 years of trying to conceive, a couple from Bhoiguda in Hyderabad has been blessed with twin babies following successful in vitro fertilisation (IVF) treatment provided free of cost at Telangana government run Gandhi Hospital in Secunderabad. Gaddam Triveni and Gaddam Mastan Rao welcomed a baby boy and a baby girl on Wednesday (April 29, 2026) after undergoing treatment at the hospital’s IVF Centre. The entire procedure, including IVF, delivery and medicines, was provided free of charge. In private hospitals, similar treatment typically costs between ₹10 lakh and ₹12 lakh.
