The senior citizens and the physically challenged voters can avail free bus rides on the day of polling on April 23. In a statement, District Collector R. Sukumar said the district administration was taking every possible step to bring all eligible voters to the polling stations on April 23 to cast their votes for ensuring cent per cent polling. While the government employees, teachers and the personnel on duty in essential services have been given the option to cast postal votes, similar facility has been extended to the senior citizens above the age of 85 and the physically challenged persons with 40% disability or more.
