With polling for the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections set for April 23, officials in Coimbatore district completed the configuration of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) units as part of the second randomisation process. The exercise was carried out on April 16 and 17 at designated centres, where machines allotted to each polling station were configured. This included fixing ballot papers in ballot units, entering candidate names in control units, and uploading party symbols in VVPAT devices.
