File | Photo Credit: PTI Awami Ittehad Party (AIP) legislator Sheikh Khursheed, brother of incarcerated Member of Parliament Engineer Rashid, on Friday (April 24, 2026) said the Delhi court’s denial of bail to Rashid “was nothing short of inhuman”. “Denial of interim bail to Mr. Rashid, even as his father lies on a deathbed waiting for the last glimpse of his incarcerated son, is nothing short of inhuman. What we are witnessing is not justice but a system that appears selective and devoid of compassion,” said Mr. Khursheed, who is MLA from north Kashmir’s Langate.
