Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta chairs a review meeting of the preparations for the Heat Wave Action Plan 2026, at Delhi Secretariat, in New Delhi. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Friday chaired a high-level review meeting at the Secretariat to assess preparedness under the Heat Wave Action Plan 2026, as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a heatwave warning for the next two days. According to a statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), Ms. Gupta directed all hospitals to ensure adequate bed capacity for heat-related cases and said ambulances should be equipped with essential facilities to handle heat emergencies. She also called for a citywide awareness campaign to educate residents on preventive measures.
