A temporary performance space with a fire setting to replicate a crematorium will be set up opposite the open-air stage in the venue to create a realistic experience for theatre lovers. The story written by Odia writer and IIT Ropar professor Suryasnata Tripathy has been modified into a play format by theatre actor and director Nitish Pandey, who plays the lead role of a person who burns bodies at the burial ground. When he finds three wishes written on a paper in the pocket of an unclaimed body, he takes it upon himself to fulfill those wishes. The 90-minute play puts Nitesh Pandey, the co-founder of Play of Shiva in focus on stage with a few characters making entries and exits at regular intervals.
