File | Photo Credit: Mohammed Yousuf The Congress, on Thursday (April 16, 2026), suspended five Haryana MLAs from the primary membership of the party with immediate effect for voting against the party’s nominee during the Rajya Sabah poll last month. Taking serious note of the violation of organisational discipline, the party has suspended the five MLAs from the primary membership of the party for anti-party activities, State Congress chief Rao Narender Singh said. He said the action has been taken after the recommendation of the State Disciplinary Committee and the approval of Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge.
