The Congress on Monday (April 27, 2026) accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of being engaged in a “fixed match”, alleging that recent political developments had exposed a tacit understanding between the two parties and reinforced its claim that the “AAP was working as BJP’s B team” in States like Gujarat and Punjab.

Addressing a press conference here, party treasurer Ajay Maken alleged that the AAP had been giving Rajya Sabha ticket to the rich and wealthy in exchange for money and should thus change its name to the “Arabpati Aadmiyon ki Party (party of billionaires)”.
