ASHOK Colour coding is being implemented across Madurai district at the cluster polling stations which have 10 or more polling stations located in a single campus to guide voters. There are 20 such cluster polling stations across the district. Madurai West has six cluster polling stations, Madurai East has four, Madurai Central has three, Thirupparankundram has three, Madurai South has two and both Madurai North and Thirumangalam have one each. The coloured pathways are designated to enable the voters to easily identify and locate their polling stations with specific details regarding each booth clearly marked. This will help the voters navigate with ease. Signboards with information are being installed at the cluster polling stations. The District Collector K.J. Praveen Kumar along with the officials inspected the cluster polling station at Al-Ameen Higher Secondary School in K. Pudur located in Madurai North.
