Representational image | Photo Credit: Getty Images The Minjur police have arrested a 25-year-old man and are on the lookout for his accomplice in connection with the assault on a college girl and attempt to rob a house in Minjur on Tuesday (April 14, 2026) night. Avadi police said a college student was in her room in the first floor of the house when two unidentified individuals entered the building through the rear entrance. As they proceeded to the first floor in an attempt to commit theft, the student spotted them and raised an alarm.
