The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Tuesday (April 14, 2026) conducted searches at 77 locations across eight States and Union Territories in connection with 22 cases registered following Supreme Court directions to probe the alleged nexus between builders and financial institutions.

According to the agency, the suspected collusion led to the cheating of unsuspecting home buyers.
