Senior IPS officer C.V. Anand. File | Photo Credit: NAGARA GOPAL The Telangana government on Tuesday (April 28, 2029) appointed senior IPS officer C. V. Anand as the Director General of Police (Head of Police Force). Anand, a 1991-batch IPS officer, has been transferred from his current post as Special Chief Secretary to Government, Home Department. He will serve as the head of the Telangana Police. The order was issued in the name of the Governor and signed by Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao.
