Buddhists taking out a peace rally between Tanuku and Undrajavaram in East Godavari district on Sunday. Buddhist took out a seven-km peace rally here on Sunday (January 25) before consecrating a Kalash (holy pot) at Maitreya Buddha Vihar in Undrajavaram mandal headquarters in East Godavari district. The rally featured a 130-metre-long Buddhist flag between Tanuku town and Undrajavaram, spreading the message of peace and harmony. Followers of Buddhism in the Telugu-speaking States joined the rally and consecration ceremony. Tanuku MLA Aarimilli Radhakrishna, State Skill Development Corporation Chairperson Boorugupalli Sesharao and other public representatives participated. The rituals continued till the evening.
