Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) had “outlived its purpose and lost its relevance in Telangana,” and there was no need for him to wish death to BRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao. “BRS is like a lifeless entity. It has a past, but no future,” he said claiming that if at all someone wished death to Mr. Rao, it must be someone who plans to replace him. “I have already defeated him several times since 2023, besides making him politically irrelevant,” he said in an informal chat with reporters on Monday.
