A former Trinamool Minister, Mr. Roy quit the party in 2024 ahead of the Lok Sabha polls. With five decades of experience in electoral politics, he claims the BJP will form the government on its own strength and that after the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), seats in Kolkata will spring a surprise.
