The Bengaluru Traffic Police has issued an advisory urging motorists to exercise caution while travelling in the city. Commuters have been asked to drive at reduced speeds, particularly on damaged and slippery stretches caused by continuous rainfall. Extra care has been recommended in waterlogged areas to prevent accidents.

Following sudden heavy rain and strong winds that lashed the city on Wednesday (April 30, 2026), normal life was disrupted, with several key roads affected due to fallen trees and waterlogging.
