A sudden hailstorm that lashed central parts of the city on April 29 evening affected the chamber of the State Advocate General (AG), located within the High Court of Karnataka building as rain water gushed into the chamber through the 168-year-old roof, which was covered with false ceiling.

Apart from this, a few chambers of the judges of the High Court housed in the older building, like the AG’s chamber, and a few other sections of the court buildings too witnessed leakages owing to the old roof.
